As Physical Therapists, Robin and Sue have worked in outpatient settings, inpatient, skilled nursing, and home health care and has successfully treated patients with a variety of disorders including vertigo/dizziness, low back pain, shoulder, knee, hip, cervical and ankle pain, and neurological disorders (Parkinson’s, stroke). 

Robin recently earned a Certification in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy through FIOMPT.  During that 10 month course she learned kinesio taping and utilizes this in her practice.  She has a special interest in vestibular therapy (dizziness/vertigo/balance disorders) and has attended many hours of continuing certification in vestibular rehab, including a week at Emory University. She also has a strong background in treating chronic low back pain and utilizes the MPS system, or Micro-current Pulsed Stimulation which is a highly effective pain relief modality using acupuncture/trigger points to effectively treat joint pain, headaches, frozen shoulders, fibromyalgia and numerous other disorders.  She understands postural dysfunction and has over 500 hours of training in Pilates and is a Polestar Pilates trained Rehabilitation Specialist.  She is also skilled in the Myokinesthetic System for lower extremity and back pain, and utilizes manual therapy, stretching and neuromuscular massage to achieve lasting results with over 500 hours of soft tissue training.  

Sue has over 30 years of experience as a physical therapist, with an emphasis on outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation, chronic pain, and woman’s health issues. Along with traditional treatment approaches, Susan utilizes complimentary forms of treatment including Pilates, Thai Chi for Arthritis, and Aquatic therapy. Susan has been a certified Pilates Instructor since 2001 (with over 800 hours of training) through Kathy Corey, Master Instructor. Susan also underwent 10 days of comprehensive Polestar Pilates training in Miami Florida, integrating Physical Therapy and Pilates. Susan is a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor, and has worked with clients, who have had physical injuries or disabilities, helping them return to golf. She previously organized“Physically Challenged Golf” clinics at a number of golf courses in the Naples, and Bonita area. Her doctoral case study was entitled the Integration of Health Coaching and Physical Therapy. Susan also is a Certified Health Coach, through US Health Foundations, and is on a personal quest for health and wellness. She enjoys helping others to reach their wellness goals.

Robin and Sue are both skilled in evaluating you to determine your strength, cardiovascular status, flexibility, posture, and balance and design a program specific to your needs.  She has an excellent track record  and many of her back patients are able to return to activities they previously could not tolerate, such as golfing.  She will work with your physician to keep them updated on your progress.  She accepts private pay or can bill Medicare part B with a doctor’s prescription.
